A 4-Step Nervous System Ritual to Manifest Money by Growing Capacity
Woke up thinking about this
When I was doing my capacity-building exercises for the day, this 4-Step Nervous System Ritual to Manifest Money by Growing Capacity popped into my head today as another way to supplement what I teach.
What the hell are the exercises I do? I imagine increasing amounts of money in the bank. At some point I start to feel itchy and want to hop on Instagram and share 572 reels to my stories. Which BTW, if you’re not following me there, you’re missing out!
Let’s start with a truth that most manifestation coaches whisper behind closed doors:
You don’t manifest money by trying harder.
You manifest money by becoming physically available for its faster flowing energy and the subsequent sensations that come with stepping into that stream.
You manifest money by Training Your Body to Wealth. Your Mind has to stop flinching away from the initially disturbing sensations and stick with them long enough to adapt.
Before you toss your laptop across the room and mutter something salty like, “Oh great, another bullshit non-answer,” hear me out. This isn’t about pretending you're rich when your bank account’s gasping for air. It's about regulating your body so it can hold what you say you want.
What most people miss is that manifesting money is not a vision board exercise.
You actually can’t think and grow rich, or if you do, you can’t sustain it. More sweet moolah than you have now requires feeling safe. It’s an embodied capacity. You must feel and sustain a more powerful frequency in your nerve endings, skin, and muscles, not just in your journal or plastered around the house on Post-it notes.
Here’s the process I teach, practice, and return to again and again. It’s somatic. It’s spiritual. It’s practical. And it works.
1. Perceive Desire
Let the truth of what you want rise up like steam from the body. Can you say, “I want money,” and feel safe? Do you have to whisper it in the dark, or when someone asks what you want can you say it boldly?
Desire doesn’t come from the mind. It rises. It bubbles. It flutters under your ribs and pulses behind your sternum. The problem is, most of us try to think our way into desire instead of feeling it.
To perceive desire, pause. Let your awareness drop into the body.
What makes your heart beat faster with a sense of “Yes”?
What makes your shoulders soften, your breath deepen, your spine sit taller?
What is a chest opening scenario for you?
Let the answers come from sensation, not logic. No more manifesting a million dollars because someone on Instagram said it was “next-level.” Let your desire reveal itself to you.
Body Prompt:
Close your eyes. Ask, “What amount of money would feel like relief in my nervous system?”
Then ask, “What amount would feel like expansion? A stretch? Too much?”
They may not be the same. That’s okay. Let both be sacred.
2. Receive Energy
Let life pour something into you instead of always pushing out.
Manifesting money is often mis-taught as projecting energy: affirmations, hustle, belief, branding, visibility.
But there's a deeper step - receptivity - penetration - activation.
Receiving means you allow yourself to be touched. To let a good idea or a compliment, or a gift land. To let an admiring glance in. To let your vision root itself in your pelvis, your belly, your tailbone.
Most people are so busy doing manifestation rituals that they forget to actually receive the energy they’ve stirred up.
Receiving also means letting money come from places your ego didn’t approve of - an unexpected check, a challenging client, a sudden invitation, a coupon.
Body Prompt:
Lie down. Say aloud: “I’m open to receiving.” Feel the stronger energy of more money enter your body, and start calibrating to it. Where does that land? Where does it bounce off? Where do you tense up against it?
Soften that area. Let the energy in. Shake your body and breathe. Notice when you want to run to Netflix, your cell phone, to sugar or weed.
3. Presence Sensation
Don’t escape the good stuff. Stay with the pleasure. Stay with the ache. Stay present to ALL of it.
Let me just say—this is alchemy in action. You’re taking the slow-moving mud of scarcity and pouring in liquid gold. The gold grabs the lower energy and starts transforming it, and this can hurt—feel like ants in your pants—make your stomach hurt.
Alchemy is so sacred and deep that most people don’t do it. It’s much easier to keep buying books and courses and chasing gurus.
But listen to me now - learning to do this means you never have to worry about money, or anything else you want to manifest, ever again. If, when you lose it, you can just repeat the process, which I am doing right now!
When the nervous system isn’t used to having money (or being chosen, seen, paid, supported), it can short-circuit the moment anything starts to work. You get the new client, the check clears, and suddenly you’re starting a fight, picking a distraction, falling into your Familiar Bad Feeling Place, or impulsively spending/giving it away.
This is why “presencing” is the most skipped step in manifestation. Presence requires facing the challenge of building capacity, so it means you don’t bolt the moment your body starts feeling agitated.
To manifest and keep money, you must stay with the sensations of having it. The flutter. The heat. The trembling aliveness. Noticing it, naming it, and not shutting it down.
Body Prompt:
When you get a win (big or small), pause.
Where do you feel it in your body?
Can you amplify it by 2% without rushing or numbing?
Can you hold it and not give it away to someone else? Making a ton of donations to good causes is a great way to return to a comfortable level of scarcity.
Holding a little more than normal and staying present with the discomfort is how you build capacity to receive more.
4. Sustain the State
You don’t need to force flow. You need to keep your body online while it’s happening. This is what I was practicing this morning - sustaining the connection to the energy and not reaching for my cell phone or jumping up to make the morning tea.
This practice means the difference between a one-time manifestation and a steady stream of abundance: nervous system sustainability and adaptation.
You are literally growing a new financial normal for your life. Soon, zero won’t mean zero or less than that in your accounts. You’ll soon find you never let your account drop below $100, then $1000, and so on.
Can you remain regulated while wealth comes in? Can you stay calm when your PayPal pings over and over? Can you hold expansion without leaking it through overgiving, overspending, or overworking?
This step is less about action, more about rhythm, cycles, and pulses.
To sustain the state:
Stay hydrated.
Rest more than you think you “deserve.”
Move or shake your body to move the energy as it rises and speeds up.
Have rituals that recalibrate you into your desired frequency for longer periods of time.
Body Prompt:
Each morning, pick one feeling-state to sustain for the next hour (safety, pleasure, ridiculously wealthy, gratitude, confidence.)
Set a timer. When it goes off, ask: “Did I stay in it? If not, when did I leave—and why?” “How long did I stay in joy before whipping out my Dream Smashing Hammer?”
This isn’t about inducing shame. It’s about tracking your own aliveness and how long you can stand the physical sensations that come with receiving the faster energies of creative life-force surges.
You Don’t Manifest Money. You Manifest Capacity.
Your body is the cauldron. The vessel. The currency container.
When it’s overwhelmed, dehydrated, undernourished, or trapped in past trauma, no amount of visualizing will stick. But when you tend to your body as sacred and increase your capacity to stay, feel, and receive, money starts showing up differently.
Not because the Universe suddenly decided to bless you or because you drank enough moon water, bought the right crystal, or said the right words.
But because you finally became physically available.
And that changes everything.

P.S. Here is an older post about dealing with debt.
This is so good 🤍thank you!
I've been hanging onto this one in my inbox, returning and returning to it.
