Why I Don't Teach Psychic Shielding or Protection

Tools are advantageous only in the beginning

Here’s my take on shielding…

If we stand next to each other, we're for sure breathing air that the other has exhaled. You can think of this as "energy exchange.” There is no particle of air that you will ever breathe that has not already been breathed by another living being. 

You are breathing air that has been breathed by dinosaurs, the first ever humans, dolphins, the first dictator, the cruelest person who has ever lived, as well as the most benevolent. 

We have the same air (and water) we've always had. While alive, we can never be separate from it, and we can never pick and choose what we breathe. 

We can't say I only want to breathe the air Jesus breathed. We can't throw a fit thinking we're breathing Hitler air.

We breathe, and we trust our lungs to do their jobs.

Energy exchange.

Energy is ONE thing, but we are in single bodies, so we forget that, and it's fine.

Be careful spending a lot of energy in resistance to shielding against or worrying about other energies getting all over you like some invisible oil slick.

Practice trusting your own energy system to steer you away from anything truly toxic. Just like you would walk away from chemical fumes or flipping leaf-burning stink (why is leaf-burning still allowed ffs?).

Moving through the world confident and aware, you can sense and simply move awareness away from people, places, and things that are uncomfortable.

Spend your energy learning the difference between someone toxic and someone who is mirroring parts of you that you don't like being made aware of. #shadowwork

Spend your energy practicing getting comfortable with the sensations of energy flowing through you. Become so aware that you immediately know which sensations belong to you as your everyday baseline and which belong to the other, the land, or the spirits.

This ability takes time and deconditioning from the idea that you're vulnerable or fragile if you're aware or feel deeply. Tools can be helpful initially, but let’s be clear - they are blankies for the Mind. It’s ok for them to be there and to be practically useful for a time. The invitation always exists for you to go beyond them and feel the difference between Mind-generated fear and actual fearful things, moving away from the concept of protection.

Actual fearful things are very few. So few that if you think about it, if something is truly dangerous to you, there isn’t time to sit around making pro and con lists and generating what-if scenarios.

Carry crystals and stones, and cast protection spells if they make you feel better. If you can’t manage your fearful thoughts without them, then, by all means, give that Mind a blankie! Just be clear: it’s not whatever you’re holding or doing- it’s you using tools to manage your fearful thoughts. You can, later, and I hope you move to this path, do that mind management all on your powerful own.

There is no more powerful creature on Earth than one who breathes freely, trusting in their own awareness. 

There is nothing that the power of your own activated heart can’t transmute.
